Yard tidying completed for today and all the hazel, willow, hawthorn and dog rose trimmings were happily munched by the sanctuary ponies and goat. The yard is empty so if anyone is looking for a rural hideaway, £5 per night covers campervan or motorhome parking.
We have a lovely sunset but there is a chilly wind blowing in from the west. That dude of the yard is protected by elders, dogwoods and hawthorn that separated the campervan park up from the wildlife garden.
In the orchard, we have Galloway Pippin apple trees, most dedicated by Friends of Frugaldom in memory of their beloved pets. Our orchard is turning into a memorial garden.
