Storm damage delays plans

'Balius and Xanthus'
Storm Eowyn took its toll on Frugaldom's ecoarts sculptures, downing several important pieces. Hopefully, the immortal horses will rise again to dominate the yard side view.

'Sanctuary'
'Sanctuary' was felled, the metal posts being turned from the ground in the ferocious winds.

'Atmospheric'
The little mare was practically decapitated by branches when the gale force winds blew over part of the pallet fence.

Pallet fence
The main part of the pallet fencing remained upright but will need repaired or else pallets replaced.

We had hoped to begin basic repairs and maintenance in and around the yard and along the main driveway but this has been postponed until the sculptures can be made safe. We will remain closed to all except our members for the foreseeable future. Meanwhile, I am desperately seeking volunteers to help care for ponies and goats, all are ok and survived the storm unscathed, we just need an extra pair of hands on site to keep up with the additional work now needing done to fences, enclosures and tracks.
