Harvey and his Ecoarts Sculptures at Frugaldom

What AI can tell us about Harvey...

Harvey Mayson is a sculptor known for creating eco-friendly artworks using materials like driftwood and recycled items. His studio, Ecoarts, is located in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, where he focuses on economical art projects within a rural setting.

Mayson's sculptures often depict animals and natural forms, reflecting his deep appreciation for wildlife and the environment. He has completed various commissions, including sculptures of St. Thomas a Becket, Adi Shankara, and William Shakespeare for the IMOS Foundation, as well as a Belted Galloway cow and calf.

Frugaldom is a rewilding project in Dumfries and Galloway that serves as a sanctuary and campervan/motorhome aire, featuring over fifty sculptures. Notable installations include "The Ghost Rider," a sculpture illuminated by solar garden lights at night, and various woodland spirits and animal figures crafted from driftwood and recycled materials.
