FRUGAL BLOG IS BACK

It has been a year since the last update on here with eveything suspended owing to workload at the Frugaldom project, which is now has 3 recreational huts for wildlife watching, nature conservation, woodland planting for habitat improvement, animal sanctuary and our campervan stopover aire. There is a huge amount of information to be added here to bring you, the readers, right up to date with what has been going on at Frugaldom. As always, everything is on a frugal budget but we now have our regular subscriber option for anyone who can afford to help us meet the costs of developing the project. Help is always needed and there are several projects available to anyone keen to get involved.

In exciting news, our rewilding project is proving to be a huge success, seeing the arrival of deer, foxes, badgers and even pine marten. Our next aim is to provide suitable habitat for red squirrels.

Follow the blog, follow @frugaldom on social media and take a look at our support group page, known as the Frugaldom ko-fi club

Thank you for returning to read the blog after such a lengthy absence but as I update here, you will soon realise just how much has been achieved and how easy it is to become part of this fabulous way of life. We are still beating the budget, still pursuing a zero waste lifestyle and still moneysaving wherever and however possible, feeding ourselves for as little as possible and raising funds to help sustain the sanctuary, which is currently home to 8 ponies, 1 goat, 4 cats and the pletora of wildlife that has moved onto our land. We have planted fruit trees, edible hedging, herbs and native woodland but still need to get the vegetable growing organised. All help welcome.
